CREATING MY CLOSET

  1. What is My Closet?
    My Closet is your personal online closet where you can keep
    • photos of your fashion and beauty items you own
    • photos of your fashion and beauty inspirations
    • photos of fashion and beauty shopping list, stuff you find at the stores or on the web
    • your favourite how-to fashion and beauty videos
    The URL of your personal online closet is: www.clozette.co/u/ProfileName
    (where ProfileName is the username you have created for your Clozette account)

    When you first sign up with Clozette, you have an empty closet like this with 5 default collections created for you:

  2. What is a Collection?
    A collection is a group of items you add to your closet. There are 5 default collections in your personal closet:
    • Closet - for all the things you own
    • Desires - for all the things you hope to own soon!
    • Looks - for your look of the day photos
    • Styles - for your style inspirations
    • Private - for things you'll like to keep private
    Other than these 5 default collections, you can create any new collection you like, such as:
    • Weekend Dresses
    • My Chic Dinner Shoes
    • Inside My Beauty Pouch
    • Great Short Hair Looks
    • Smoky Eye Videos
  3. How to add items to My Closet?
    There are 4 ways to add stuff to your closet.

    4. CLOZETTE SECTIONS

    1. Fashion, Beauty & Looks
      • A place to view all fashion, beauty, looks photo and videos shared by Clozetters.
      • View by categories that are of interest to you (e.g. bags, shoes, makeup, nails).
      • Sort your view by Interesting (items that are currently being Liked or Commented on) or Recent (latest shared items).
      • Like or Comment on items you appreciate - be generous with your compliments!
      • If you fancy an item shared in Fashion, Beauty or Looks sections, you can Add it to your personal closet.
      • You can see more related items from the collection by clicking on the collection name.
    2. Discuss
      • Discuss section gives you another view to the Fashion & Beauty sections where interesting Comments and conversations are highlighted.
      • You can also Start A New Topic without a photo (e.g. "Share the latest online sales").
    3. My Closet
      Your personal online closet where you can keep:
      • photos of your fashion and beauty items you own
      • photos of your fashion and beauty inspirations
      • photos of fashion and beauty shopping list, stuff you find at the stores or on the web
      • your favourite how-to fashion and beauty videos

    4. Bazaar
      • A marketplace for Clozetters to sell, buy or swap new or pre-owned items.
      • You can sell women fashion, accessories and beauty products.
      • It's currently a FREE service for members!
      • So all we ask is... No Replicas! No Nudity! And No soliciting sales for your items outside of the Bazaar section! Clozette reserves the right to remove non-compliant listings and/or suspend your account without prior notice to you!
      • Create a Bazaar Store - If you have 20 or more items to sell, you can even create a store on Clozette Bazaar with your personalized store URL that looks like this: www.clozette.co/store/SashayDeuce.
      • Bazaar provides a platform to facilitate selling and buying information exchange between members. Clozette is not responsible for the actual transaction between members and will not be liable for any loss of money, goodwill or consequential damages arising from the user of Clozette Bazaar.
      • Do your part to make the experience at Clozette Bazaar fun and rewarding. Exercise caution as you would in all members marketplace.
      • Be a responsible seller and buyer!
    5. Shoppe
      • Shoppe brings together Asia's Top Designers and the world's most fabulous Brands allowing you to cross-shop hundreds of thousands of fashion apparels and accessories all in one place.
      • If you fancy an item, just hit the "Buy at www.storeXYZ.com" button and you'll be brought directly to item's original online store where you can buy.
      • Not quite ready to buy? Then Add the item to your shopping list in your closet and get it month end when your paycheck arrives!

        In Account Settings, you can

          • Profile photo
          • Birthday
          • Current city
          • Country
          • About me
        • 2. Change your account password
        • 3. Manage your notifications
          • Receive notifications when someone likes your item
          • Receive notifications when someone comments on your item
          • Receive notifications when someone follows you
          • Receive Clozette newsletters
        • 4. Manage your comments subscriptions
          • Receive notifications when there are new comments on items you have liked or commented on.
