Step 1: Prime Your Lids
Prime your lids with a peach-coloured cream eyeshadow as a base. This keeps your eyeshadow in place and prevents it from creasing through the day.
Step 2: Go Bronze
Sweep a wash of bronze eyeshadow all over your eyelid. Add dimension by adding another layer of the same shadow along the crease with a small crease brush.
Step 3: Blend And Highlight
The key to perfecting a soft eyelook is proper blending. With a fluffy brush, softly blend the crease colour with a shimmery highlight shade. Use the same shade to highlight your brow bone.
Step 4: Line With Eyeliner
Step 5: Layer On The Mascara
Since this look is more toned-down, skip the false lashes and just curl and layer your natural lashes with at least 3 coats of volumizing and lengthening mascara.
Step 1: Prime Your Lids
Step 2: Pop Of Blue
Sweep a vibrant blue eyeshadow all over your lids, concentrating more of the colour along your crease. Add a bit of blue along your lower lashline as well.
Step 3: Metallic Hues
Bring a touch of metallic shimmer to the look by adding it to the middle of your lid and using it as a transition shade to your brow bone.
Step 4: Line The Eyes
Apply a thick line of liquid eyeliner, flicking it up at the end for a soft cat-eye effect.
Step 5: Pile On The Mascara
Accentuate your eyes by layering 3 coats of your favourite mascara to add extra volume and length.
Step 2: Go Bronze
Sweep a deep bronze shade all over your upper eyelids. Bring the colour down to your lower lashline with a small angled brush.
Step 3: Add The Gold
With a fluffy brush, blend the gold shimmery eyeshadow all over your crease, keeping the colour more concentrated along the outer half of your eye. Pop a bit of this eyeshadow in the middle of your lower lashline as well.
Step 4: Line The Eyes
Apply a thick line of liquid eye liner with a thick cat eye at the end. Don't be afraid to go for a bold line here!
Step 5: Pile On The Mascara
Play up your eyes even more by popping on false lashes and layering at least 3 coats of your favourite mascara.
Step 1: Prime Your Lids
Step 2: Go Purple
A dark purple eyeshadow is a great way to bring colour to a smoky eye. Sweep a generous amount all over your lids, going beyond the crease and lining your lower lashline. Blend the outer edges with a fluffy brush for a seamless transition of colour.
Step 3: Smoke The Look
For the smoky effect, pile on dark brown eyeshadow all over the lid. Bring the colour down to your lower lashline as well. Keep layering the shadow until you get your desired smoky effect. You may even add a bit more purple for more dimension.
Step 4: Line The Eyes
Apply a thick line of kohl eyeliner all around your eye, including your upper and bottom waterline. Smoke out the lines with a stiff angled brush. You may repeat this process 2 more times to achieve a deeper smoky effect.
Step 5: Pile On The Mascara
Since you're going for a bold look, pop on the boldest pair of eyelashes you own and layer it with a generous coat of mascara.
