With the weather heating up the region, nothing seems more apt than stocking up on summer-ready OOTDs that are all about keeping things feeling light, flowy, and airy--bringing a much needed respite from the heat and humidity.

So in keeping with our excitement at having ASOS rock the runway during our Clozette Style Party (it'll be their first runway show ever in Singapore!), we've picked out 5 of our favourite items from their SS16 Collection, perfect for looking chic and cool this season.

ASOS Knitted Top In Off Shoulder With Stripe Ruffle Detail

Let your skin breathe and take in the summer sun with this off-shoulder top. The ruffle detail adds movement to the piece, matching the fun, effortless mood of summer. Pair it with high waisted jeans and slip on sandals.

Lace-up footwear is all the rage these days, so it's no surprise why we're loving this pair of lace-up wedges with printed textile detailing and raffia-style sole. It'll look great paired with a flowy summer dress, perfect for brunch dates with your girl friends.

For something a little dressier and perhaps even appropriate for work, we're all for this floral tiered dress. It's structured and fitted, yet brings a cool summer flow with its tiered layers that move effortlessly with every turn.

This isn’t the first time that ZALORA provided an avenue for local designers to showcase their work in a large scale event. In its second consecutive year, RAYALUTION, ZALORA’s largest raya fashion festival to date, celebrated collaborative collections with some of Malaysia’s most popular and up-and-coming designers during the 2016 Hari Raya festivities.

“All the designers have put in countless hours and worked really hard to prepare for the ZALORA Raya Fashion Festival 2016 and thankfully, the show was nothing short of spectacular,” said Giulio Xiloyannis, Managing Director of ZALORA. “It was challenging, yet rewarding, for ZALORA and the designers because we always strive to create something new for our customers every year to keep them excited.”

From 13 local independent brands and established young designers (including Sugarscarf, Bella Ammara, Fazbulous by Fazura, KREE, Tengku Syahmi, Hatta Dolmat and Woo/Fiziwoo), this highly anticipated event, which was held at Le Meridien Kuala Lumpur was attended by celebrities, media and fashion influencers who flaunted their unforgettable style and showed support for the wonderful collections that were presented.

The RAYALUTION: ZALORA Raya Fashion Festival 2016 collection will be available online on  zalora.com.my/zalora-raya-fashion-festival.

Fashion drama stepped out once again on Orchard Road’s longest catwalk display two Saturdays ago, with 188 models and performers strutting down the heart of Singapore’s shopping paradise.

With notable personalities and bloggers across the region – Singapore-born singer JJ Lin, Malaysian singer Aisyah Aziz, local supermodel Sheila Sim, fashion blogger Laureen Uy and more – gracing the occasion, brands like Harvee Kok, Revasseur and Uniqlo kicked off the six-week spectacle with their latest Spring/Summer 2016 looks in full glitz and glamour style. After all, you know you’re in for a good show when you have Daniel Boey – one of Singapore’s most notable voices in fashion – curating the Orchard Road Runway Show at Fashion Steps Out 2016.

From the pre-runway party held at Paragon Shopping Centre to the extravagant over- 660metre long Orchard Road runway showcase, we have to say, this year’s installation is one of Fashion Steps Out’s best runs since its debut in 2010.
