March into the middle of the month with us as we bring you the most exciting launches and releases to know now, including the official launch date of French fashion brand A.P.C’s highly anticipated capsule collection with Sacai, Neutrogena’s newest brand ambassadors (hint: they’re a sister music duo) and the confirmed cast for the live-action remake of The Powerpuff Girls.


A.P.C x Sacai collaboration to launch on 19 March




Japanese luxury fashion label Sacai has joined hands with French ready-to-wear brand A.P.C to create a unisex capsule collection called “INTERACTION#9”. The range blends A.P.C’s fondness for denim with Sacai’s frequent use of nylon to offer a selection of clothing, footwear and a tote bag. A.P.C’s previous “INTERACTION” capsule collections have seen them collaborating with the likes of Goop, Kid Cudi and Carhartt WIP. The new collection will launch online at apcstore.com on 19 March.

Korean beauty brand belif has recently released a limited-edition, jumbo 75ML version of its Youth Creator-Age Knockdown Bomb — an all-rounded serum that’s formulated with natural herbs and ingredients to target specific skin concerns such as premature ageing and enlarged pores. It also features a chrome massage stone that’s attached to the top of the bottle cap to help maximise the efficacy of the product’s herb-based formula.

Neutrogena appoints Chloe x Halle as ambassadors




Stylish sisters and R&B musician duo Chloe and Halle Bailey recently took to Instagram to announce their latest role as Neutrogena’s ambassadors. “I'm happy we're part of a brand that aligns with our values and what we believe in. Beauty is really about loving who you are inside and spreading that outwards," Chloe shared to Refinery29.


P.S. For the uninitiated, Chloe x Halle started off performing covers on YouTube and were later discovered by none other than Beyoncé herself. The music duo is currently managed by Parkwood Entertainment, Queen Bey’s music label.

The CW confirms cast for The Powerpuff Girls live-action reboot




Another day, another live-action reboot we’re keeping our fingers crossed for to be a success. Following its official announcement of a live-action reboot of the crime-fighting trio, American television network The CW has confirmed the cast for the leads of the show. American actress and singer Chloe Benett will play Blossom, while Dove Cameron will play Bubbles. Last but not least, singer-songwriter Yana Perrault will portray the role of Buttercup. A release date has yet to be revealed at this point, so stay tuned for more updates.


Netflix renews Bling Empire and Selling Sunset




One casts the spotlight on a group of wealthy Asians (and their lavish homes), the other features an equally ambitious group of individuals who sells them. Viewers can expect plenty more drama and jaw-dropping moments as Netflix has just announced that Bling Empire will be renewed for a second season and Selling Sunset for another two seasons though the premiere dates for the new seasons are yet to be confirmed.


Details are also very much up in the air for season two of Bling Empire. However, Singaporean cast member Kane Lim revealed in an interview that he wishes to “fly the whole cast to Singapore to show them what Singapore truly is.” Meanwhile, Kelly Mi Li (who recently announced her split from her actor-boyfriend Andrew Gray) wants to showcase more of her business to fans of the show. Kelly is a television and film producer for Organic Media Group, a production company she co-founded in 2018.


Similarly, with Selling Sunset, Netflix has yet to reveal any details about the two upcoming seasons and understandably so, given that filming has not begun due to the pandemic. Is watching reality TV your guilty pleasure as well?

Jackson Wang and RAIN drop “Magnetic” music video




GOT7 rapper and soloist Jackson Wang and renowned Korean singer and dancer RAIN have recently dropped their “Magnetic” music video, a three-minute black-and-white film that’s written and co-directed by Jackson Wang. The R&B track is part of RAIN’s new mini-album, “Pieces by Rain” — his first release in four years. RAIN has also worked with singer Chungha for “Why Don’t We,” a groovy R&B and electronic track which was further promoted with a “one-take” performance video and an official music video.
