Visit the first CASA LOEWE in SEA at ION Orchard
Following the recent openings of CASA LOEWE in Madrid, London, Tokyo and Beijing, the first CASA LOEWE in Southeast Asia just opened in Singapore at ION Orchard. The 340 square-metre store will showcase the full range of LOEWE’s women’s and men’s ready-to-wear, bags, small leather goods, soft accessories, eyewear, jewellery and shoes. It will also serve as an exhibition space for LOEWE’s capsule collections and art projects.

Looking for a mini purse to house your moolah and credit cards while running errands? Look no further than the new RIMOWA Personal Collection. Crafted in the same ultra-lightweight and dent-resistant grooved polycarbonate as your hardy travelling suitcases, the RIMOWA Personal is a hard-shell crossbody bag you can easily carry with you. See BLACKPINK’s Lisa in the MAC Cosmetics’ Holiday 2020 campaign
Let’s move on to beauty-related headlines. The first of what we’re confident will be many MAC campaigns, BLACKPINK’s resident rapper and dancer fronts the MAC Cosmetics Holiday 2020 campaign. She joins Bretman Rock, Loren Gray, iluvsarahii, Colleen Heidemann, Livia Rose Johnson, and Kayla Nicole Jones as the faces of the brand’s holiday offerings. Lisa’s endorsing the limited-edition Showstopper Powder Kiss Lipstick x 5 Kit — featuring the festive shades Mull It Over, Devoted To Chili, Stay Curious, Fall In Love and Werk, Werk, Werk — the ideal gift for any lipstick lover.
MAMAMOO makes a comeback
In other K-pop-adjacent news, girl group MAMAMOO’s comeback album “TRAVEL” has made waves online. Hwasa, Moonbyul, Wheein, and Solar have all been preoccupied with their solo projects but this mini-album marks their comeback as a girl group. However, this year was unlike any other. Solar told Soompi, “This is MAMAMOO’s first comeback as a full group in almost a year, but we can’t communicate with an audience, so I really feel their absence.” Despite this, they showed they were true performers and gave a top-notch performance at their Mnet comeback show. You can stream MAMAMOO’s “TRAVEL” album on Spotify.
Celebs go all out for Halloween costumes
Meanwhile in Hollywood, some celebrities embraced the spirit of Halloween and put a lot of effort in their costumes. Riverdale stars Camila Mendes, Madelaine Petsch, and Lili Reinhart caught everyone’s attention when they suited up as Buttercup, Blossom, and Bubbles (respectively and with coordinating face masks) from The Powerpuff Girls franchise — a long-awaited moment, in our opinion!
Joining the roster of celebs with playful Halloween costumes, singer Halsey wow-ed the Internet with her interpretation of the Corpse Bride while Kylie Jenner and the gang dressed up as the Power Rangers.
