Here's What Our Fave Celebs Dressed Up As For Halloween | Clozette

Each year, people get more and more creative with their Halloween looks. Our favourite celebrities are no exception. From pop culture moments and classic horror movie references to the most imaginative inspirations possible, here are our top picks from how the stars have dressed up for the occasion.

Demi Lovato as Pennywise

The Sorry Not Sorry singer channelled two looks for Halloween. First, as Marie Antoinette. But her glammed up Pennywise is what really stole the show, in our opinion. Nailing the look from the hair to the makeup to the prop balloon, she's really putting the 'It' in lit for Halloween.

Nina Dobrev and Lane Cheek as Chanel stage crasher escorted by Gigi Hadid

Talk about memorable celebrity moments parodied by other celebs. Nina Dobrev and her friend Lane Cheek decided to play it witty this year as comedian Marie S’Infiltre who crashed Paris Fashion Week's Chanel S/S 2020 runway and model Gigi Hadid who put a stop and escorted the stage crasher mid-walk respectively.

Ashley Graham as Jessica Rabbit

The Who Framed Roger Rabbit character is an annual Halloween favourite among Hollywood celebs, and it's model Ashley Graham's turn this year. Ashley's resemblance to the animated bombshell is uncanny and we're totally loving how she's showing off her baby bump in Jessica's iconic body-hugging red dress.

Stormi Webster as mum Kylie Jenner at the Met Gala

It seems like Kylie Jenner got a little more extra this year — just not with her own costume. Dressing her daughter Stormi Webster in a miniature version of her Met Gala dress from early this year — complete with a purple wig and a lot of fluff — the two-year-old looked exceptionally adorable.

Vanessa Hudgens and Austin Butler as Sally and Jack Skellington

Looks like the king and queen of stunning Coachella ensembles also know how to slay Halloween. Dressing up as Sally and Jack Skellington from Disney's The Nightmare Before Christmas, the lovebirds of seven years even referenced one of the most romantic lines in the film in their social posts.

Heidi Klum as fireworks

What did the queen of jaw-dropping costumes, Heidi Klum, wear this year? Adding to her list of memorable looks for the occasion, she's clad in head-to-toe glitter this year, personifying fireworks. That's right! No character reference, no traditional Halloween inspiration, just straight-up glam in blinding glitter. We're already looking forward to how she's topping this off next year!

Style is an important part of our identities. As Miuccia Prada once said, "What you wear is how you present yourself to the world, especially today when human contacts go so fast. Fashion is instant language." Whether we like it or not, the way we dress impacts not just our mood but also the way others see us. It may seem superficial but it's true. In a way, putting together an ensemble is like weaving words that speak about who we are.

This month, we're celebrating personal style and making memorable fashion statements with our #MyClozetteStyle series where #TeamClozette shares their signature looks, fashion mishaps, and more. Keep reading to know more.

Business Team: Evon, Chloe and Niky

How do you describe your personal style?

Evon: Comfortwear that I have like baggy pants. And I think most of my wardrobe is like black [and] white.

Niky: I like to keep things simple, but I like to wear things on the monochrome level. So you'll always see me in something in all red, all black. I do love long sleeves as well.

Chloe: My personal style is no prints, big size, big items.

What's your biggest fashion regret?

Niky: I used to wear these really awfully thick high heel platforms.

Evon: New Future skinny red jeans plus slippers. Not a beautiful sight.

Chloe: Listening to my mum that for the same amount of price you pay, buy more materials. So I ended up having a lot of very baggy, hip-hop looking pants and jeans.

Campaigns Team: Eunice, Stephanie and Jamie

How do you describe your personal style?

Eunice: Smart casual. I love to play with layers and sometimes, I would just wear a blazer over a very casual outfit and then go with heels.

Stephanie: I like to play with a highly fashionable piece with a tinge of casual wear.

Jamie: My personal style would be minimalist because I like to wear a one-piece dress. It actually saves me time in the morning to pick the right outfit and I can just go out like that.

What's the best fashion tip you've been given?

Stephanie: The best fashion tip that someone has ever shared with me is to wear the correct innerwear. Eunice: When in doubt, layer up.

Jamie: Maximise the minimal. For example, you can just wear a plain tee but then you can accessorise with like statement earrings or a strong ring to make it pop.

Creative Team: Laura and Audrey

How do you describe your personal style?

Laura: I have very tan skin so I don’t like to wear monochrome. I prefer wearing anything that has prints or colours.

Audrey: My personal style is anything jeans with sneakers and I love a pop of colour like this shirt.

What's your closet must-have?

Laura: I think it will be a denim jacket because whenever I’m feeling very lazy, a denim jacket will help to elevate my look.

Audrey: I think for myself, it would be a printed top. Because, when you wear something very basic, I think a printed top would help you look better also.

Clozette Co-Founders: Kersie and Cheryl

How do you describe your personal style?

Kersie: I would think that I have a smart casual style. I like little details like these in my outfits.

Cheryl: I define my style as classic. My outfits are mostly in black like what I wore today.

If your house were on fire, what fashion item will you be saving?

Cheryl: I want to take everything! My bag, my shoes…

Kersie: No, no, no! Just one!

Cheryl: Tough choice. I’ll choose this watch. It’s a gift from my husband so it has sentimental value to it and ever since I heard the backstory about this watch, I’ve always wanted it.

Kersie: If I have to choose one fashion item, I think my shoes — my staple shoes. I think they’ve been with me for years, so I think they are hard to replace. So, shoes for me.
