A Filipina won Elite Model Look 2020
Ever wondered what it takes to join Kendall Jenner’s modelling agency? Reins Mika can show you how. The Filipina model was one of the four winners of Elite Model Look 2020, an international competition held by Elite World Group (one of the biggest modelling agencies in the world, FYI). Mika was the only Asian contestant who made the final cut and she also eventually went home as the winner of the Digital category, earning her a modelling contract with one of the agencies under Elite World Group. We definitely hope to see more of her in the international modelling scene, perhaps on a campaign for a luxury brand.

BLACKPINK’s Rosé previews solo track
BLACKPINK main vocalist Rosé finally gave BLINKs a taste of her most-awaited solo single titled “GONE” during the group’s online concert last Sunday. The track is said to be an emotional piece about breakups and relationships. While we still don’t know when we’ll get to hear the full song just yet, we can listen to a snippet through the preview video above and bask in her sweet high voice. Plus, can we give a round of applause for the moody visuals?
IU releases new song
Speaking of new K-pop releases, soloist Lee Ji-eun a.k.a IU also released a new song titled “Celebrity”. After teasing the Internet with news of a new album, we finally get to hear the upbeat tune. It treats us to several dance breaks during the chorus, where the singer shows off her graceful dancing skills. However, the meaning of the song is still a bit of a mystery; for some, IU is simply describing the celebrity life. Others think it goes deeper and actually encourages listeners to treat themselves as their own celebrity. If you want to give this song a listen to determine the lyrics’ true meaning for yourself, you can stream it on Spotify and Apple Music or watch the official music video above.
Instagram may stop allowing sharing feed posts in Stories
This just in: we may soon be unable to share feed posts to our Instagram stories. The interesting development was first shared by Social Media Today, who said that Instagram was rolling out a test that blocks users from creating a Story that shares a feed post in selected regions. While Instagram did follow up to clarify that there are no plans to roll out this update in the near future, it’s something IG users who like to reshare content via their Stories will have strong opinions to share. Is it a yay or nay for you, Clozetter?
