Cream Silk Portraits: World Class Filipinas

2015 marks an exciting year for Cream Silk as they celebrate the World Class Filipina. As a brand devoted to empowering Filipinas with Beyond Beautiful Hair, Cream Silk is now inspiring the Filipina with the confidence to show their exceptional ability on any stage, challenging them to aspire for beauty that’s world-class.

With the Cream Silk #WorldClassFilipina Ball held on the 21st April 2015 at Solaire Resort & Casino, the brand kicked off their empowering advocacy with the launch of their feature film "Portraits: Stories of World-Class Filipinas" directed by internationally acclaimed director, Marie Jamora.

Portraits follows the inspiring journey of Cream Silk Ambassadors Lea Salonga, Anne Curtis, Toni Gonzaga, and Heart Evangelista-Escudero--where they open up and talk about their early beginnings and the challenges they had to face to get where they are now.

Invited guests were also treated to the world class talent of multi-awarded performer Lea Salonga, as she delighted the audience with two Broadway classics, "On My Own" and "Defying Gravity."

It was truly an inspiring night as Cream Silk left everyone determined to dream big and make a name for themselves no matter what field they may be in. In the words of Gina Lorenzana (VP for personal Care), "There is no dream too big for a Filipina because she is world class."
