The Dyson Airwrap™ styler uses jets of air to allow you to achieve voluminous curls, natural waves and smooth blow-dry finishes – at home. At the heart of this story comes a radical idea: harness Dyson’s digital motor to create a phenomenon known as the Coanda effect.

The Coanda effect occurs when a high-speed jet of air flows across a surface and, due to differences in pressure, the air flow attaches itself to the surface. So the good news for us is there'll be no more burning rods or awkward winding mechanisms as this Coanda effect attracts our hair to the barrel and wraps it for us. Jaclyn Hill x Quay

Jaclyn Hill is unofficially the queen of beauty YouTube. And so we don't really get surprised anymore when she announces a collaboration with beauty brands like Becca and Morphe (although we are still on the edge of our seats for news about her own cosmetics line, which has already been years in the making). But we were quite surprised — but definitely in a good way — when she announced a collaboration with Quay. Will you rock the sunglasses Jaclyn helped design? The collection will be available starting 15 November.

Jessica Jung's Poppy

Korean superstar Jessica Jung is releasing a limited-edition bag named Poppy under her brand BLANC & ECLARE exclusively at ZALORA. Get your hands on it on 26 October.

Then I Met You

Charlotte Cho, the brain behind the cult-favourite K-beauty site SoKoGlam, has launched her own skincare line called Then I Met You. Inspired by jeong, a "deep and emotional connection," Charlotte created skincare products that will "yield meaningful connection and rewarding results."

adidas x Dragon Ball Z

'90s kids won't be able to get enough of this release from adidas. Inspired by the iconic battles on Dragon Ball Z, the brand will release Deerupt and Prophere shoes designed to depict Son Gohan and Cell. Take your pick from the two and get your hands on a pair on 26 October.

This year, #TeamClozette welcomed a host of gorgeous guests in Kuala Lumpur and experienced summer and winter all in one place at the Clozette Party 2018. Decked out in their Saturday best of Clozette Pink, Wintry White, Sunshine Gold and Ocean Blue, guests arrived to a spread of sweet and savoury delights, specially curated by Botanica Deli just for the occasion. Members of our community mingled and connected about everything style and beauty — topics that are near and dear to our own hearts.

This girl power-packed afternoon was spent exploring what our amazing partners had to offer. Senka shared secrets about cleansing with their comprehensive range of products; Anessa gave our guests a crash course on the benefits of UV protection; and ghd graciously provided hair makeovers, as well as insider information about their styling tools while working with Ma Cherie products.

And what kind of party would this be without presents? Five lucky winners walked away with prizes: a staycation from Sheraton Imperial Kuala Lumpur, two types of styling tools from ghd, and a year’s supply of products from Senka and Anessa. A lucky dip was prepared for all guests to take home a little extra something when they collected all the stamps on their Beauty Passport, with prizes courtesy of Anessa and Senka.
