Emma Watson Shares Her Daily Beauty Essentials

Eco-friendly options

Ever since her Harry Potter days, actress Emma Watson has become an icon when it comes to her beauty and fashion taste. She is very passionate about cruelty-free, vegan, and sustainable beauty that she's taken the time to educate herself in eco-friendly beauty brands. In a video with British Vogue, we get to take a peek into her daily beauty essentials.

She keeps odor at bay with aluminum-free deodorant

Neutralise bad BO with a natural deodorant inside your hygiene pack. If your job requires you to frequently meet clients and other personalities face-to-face, you always want to present yourself the best way possible. Like Emma, who has engagements on the daily, keep a scent neutraliser handy. She uses the Aurelia Probiotic Skincare Botanical Cream (GBP18/~USD23.71) which she describes as, “Essential. It smells good, it doesn’t have a lot of yucky crap in it, the packaging is recycled, it’s vegan.”

She's always ready with reusable make-up remover pads

It’s time to ditch the single-use cotton pads and opt for a more sustainable option. Emma keeps a pack of reusable makeup remover pads inside her purse at all times. These are quite handy to have, as you simply throw them into the washing machine once you’ve used them all up. She uses the eco-friendly Tabitha Eve Organic Makeup Rounds (GBP5.50/~USD7.25), which are made of organic cotton and bamboo. A local option you can get is the Paraluman Reusable Cotton Rounds (PHP200/~USD3.93) made with bamboo and cotton by an indie Filipino sustainability brand.

She spritzes on this rose water spray

Emma has a bottle of the MV Organic Skincare Rose Hydrating Mist (AUD38/~USD26.34) with her at all times. It refreshes and hydrates the skin, even claiming to soothe even the most sensitive skin types. It has a delicate rose petal scent. A similar product to this is the Herbivore Botanicals Rose Hibiscus Hydrating Spray (SGD 50/~USD37.08) on Sephora.

She stays protected with sunscreen

You don’t get perfect skin without investing in SPF. Emma’s porcelain skin is protected by applying sunscreen daily. As you know, fairer skin tends to burn faster when exposed to harsh lighting. According to Content Beauty, the concept store where Emma got most of her essentials, Emma uses the Josh Rosebrook Nutrient Day Cream with Tinted Broad Spectrum SPF30 (USD95).

Her hands stay pretty with this nail polish

You never know when your manicure will crack. Emma keeps a bottle of the nontoxic, clean beauty KURE Bazaar Ecological Nail Polish in Frenchie (EUR16/~USD17.91) handy just in case. You could also do the same by keeping a bottle inside your makeup bag as well. If your dress code doesn’t allow for nail polish, clear nail polish and cuticle oil should always be at hand.
