The weather's already cool, but the happenings in the worlds of fashion and beauty remain hot. We're excited about new launches and surprising collaborations.  We know you're already thinking about lounging about during the weekend, but here are some fun news bits to keep you company.

T in SG

You can now grab T by Alexander Wang pieces in SG. Visit the store at Level 2 Takashimaya Department Store. This is the designer's first store in the island city, and it carries the brand's women's ready-to-wear collection.

MAC x Nicki Minaj

If you're a fan of collaborations, you might like this one. MAC Cosmetics and rapper Nicki Minaj are going to release a collection of nude lipsticks in September.

Moody Hair

We style our hair according to our mood. But this temporary dye from Pravana will make your hair colour change the same way a mood ring's colour does.

Behind the iconic star

We're just as curious about a brand's history as we are about brand names. So we were naturally interested to learn more about the meaning behind the iconic star of one of the world's most famous beers, Heineken. Folks can learn more about the brand and its rich heritage at TREC in Kuala Lumpur till 26 August.

“Fashion in its entirety never ceases to amaze me more than beauty. It's a confidence booster; a self-expression tool; a political statement; a cultural artifact; an art form. Thankful for another opportunity to see its beauty up close. Now, off to the airport!” My parting words as I tapped away on my smartphone while on the way to the Kuala Lumpur International Airport.

It’s Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week Ready To Wear’s fifth year of showcasing the country’s most creative, promising, and prominent fashion talents. Once again, from streetwear to couture — and from minimalist to maximalist — KL Fashion Week did not disappoint. Clozette, being the Official Fashion Portal of the event, was in attendance to catch the visual spectacle from right up close. Here are our favourite runway moments at this year’s KL Fashion Week.
