Some products are just too good (or too ridiculous) to be true. Take for example Tarte's 'newly released' Icy Betch palette that got us so excited until we learned that it's just an April Fool's prank. Earlier today on Instagram, Tarte urged followers to watch their stories because there's gonna be "an exciting reveal". Fans were so pleased to discover the brand's latest palette with blue and silver shades. However, in the next slide, it's revealed as a prank. At least there's still a very real sale going on!
It's not just Tarte that fooled around. Lush, who's known for its bath bombs, 'launched' a "beer bath bomb". It claims to turn your bath water into real beer, so you can just take a "big swig" in the tub after a long day. They even uploaded a hilarious commercial advertising this product. Haha, if this product were for real we'll surely give it a try.
Another brand that made us smile is Head & Shoulders, who revealed 'their latest product' called 'Knees & Toes' which is supposedly a body wash and shampoo in one. A nod to the old nursery rhyme, "My Toes, My Knees, My Shoulders, My Head,' We don't mind if they make this product available in the market. Maybe in the near future?
And then there are brands who 'want to venture into the beauty world', even just for a day. Would you buy Essential Pretzel Oils from the "House of A" aka Auntie Anne's? You can choose from Freshly Baked, Salty and Cinnamon Twist scents.
