No Filter Foundation
It's nice to see that the beauty industry is finally delving into diversity. After the successful launch of Rihanna's Fenty Beauty, many brands followed suit and the latest of them is ColourPop Cosmetics. The cult-favourite brand from Los Angeles has just announced the release of their #NoFilter Foundations that come in 42 shades. They'll be available on the brand's website starting 12 June.
RIMOWA x OFF-WHITE
We've already drooled over previous collaborations between OFF-WHITE and various brands, and now we're adding a new product to our must-get list: the RIMOWA x OFF-WHITE luggage. The transparent luggage is inspired by "one's emotional connection to their own 'personal belongings,'" according to OFF-WHITE's creative director, Virgil Abloh. The luggage will be available on 25 June at select RIMOWA and OFF-WHITE stores worldwide.

A different kind of brow pen
Do you remember those pens that had different colours and you had to click buttons down to choose which colour to use? Well, they're back. Sort of. The same mechanism has been used by Benefit Cosmetics for their new Brow Contour Pro. No word yet on when the product will be released, but keep an eye on this space for updates!

The beautiful designs she brought into this world will never be forgotten
The world lost a talented and brilliant soul this week. Designer Katherine Brosnahan, more popularly known as Kate Spade, passed away at age 55 after taking her own life. Once the news broke out, several people on social media told anecdotes about their personal encounters with the late designer and how they were shocked by what happened. Meanwhile, some expressed their regrets and fondly shared that their very first "grown-up" bag was from the brand she founded back in 1993.
Kate Spade offered more than just chic designer items. At a time when luxury bags were almost exclusively catered to a more mature clientele, the brand gave young women a bridge between luxury and accessibility. It was a fine line that designer Kate Spade successfully mastered through her playful, youthful designs that eventually became her signature aesthetic.
Through her eponymous brand, she proved that fashion does not need to be so serious and fierce all the time. And that it's possible to stay classy while having fun and being quirky. As Kate Spade once said, "Playing dress-up begins at age five and never truly ends."
More than anything, the legacy of Kate Spade is inspiring women the world over to never be afraid to showcase their bold personalities through fashion. We'll forever remember her as the vibrant woman who left a colourful mark in the fashion world.
