Here's What Went Down In This Year's Asian TV Awards

Winners, performances & more!

Last week, the 22nd Asian Television Awards held at Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre, concluded two evenings of glitz and glamour celebrating Asian television’s bests. Hosted by Baki Zainal, Stephanie Carrington, and Wang Li Huan, the event attracted around 3,500 spectators where 29 awards were given out during the trade gala event on 30 November 2017. Another 18 awards were presented during the live ceremony on 1 December 2017.

One of the most prestigious awards of the night, ‘Best Drama Series’ was presented to KBS’ Love in the Moonlight, beating the highly raved Guardian: The Lonely and Great God (best known as Goblin) — a testament that the K-drama trend is not fading away anytime soon.

The big winner of the night is Sony Pictures Television, who bagged a total of five awards this year. They won the coveted award of ‘Cable & Satellite Network of the Year’, ‘Cable & Satellite Channel of the Year’ for AXN Asia, ‘Best Adaptation of an Existing Format’, ‘Best Reality Show’, and ‘Best General Entertainment Programme’ for Amazing Race Asia Season 5. But that's not all! If you missed the show, we've got the event highlights down below.
