Shiseido buys Drunk Elephant



Clean beauty is the buzzword that put Drunk Elephant in the map and it seems like years later, it's also what attracted Shiseido from acquiring it for approximately USD845 million. Founded by Tiffany Masterson in 2012, Drunk Elephant, which has a younger audience following and a more eco-inclined approach will now be part of the Japanese beauty brand's roster. Instagram's dark mode



Late-night Instagram scrolling has never been so satisfying now that the photo-sharing platform has started rolling out a dark mode. The feature is now available for both iOS and Android. The move was said to be brought about by popularity and demand by users. However, it cannot be enabled or disabled in-app and only follows the phone's system settings as modified by the user. Either way cheers to us who love looking through the 'Gram before heading to sleep.
