We've come to the end of another week, but it doesn't mean the fun bits of news from the worlds of fashion and beauty are stopping. Here are things you need to know right now.
Met Gala '19 Theme
The theme for next year's Met Gala has been announced, and, friends, it is "camp." Inspired by Susan Sontag's 1964 essay "Notes on 'Camp'", the showcase will focus on how designers sometimes use humour to convey their messages through their pieces. If you're a bit confused, just think of Off-White by Virgil Abloh and Jeremy Scott's Moschino.
ZALORA x It Girls
ZALORA Philippines has collaborated with the country's top social media mavens — Georgina Wilson-Burnand, Isabelle Daza-Semblat, Liz Uy and Solenn Heusaff-Bolzico — on a fashion collection called the___edit. You can now shop the line, whose prices range between PHP999 and PHP2999, here.
Coffee To Go, No Syrup
Beauty and makeup make the perfect combination. And we're glad that Etude House agrees because they have just released the Coffee To Go, No Syrup collection, which includes an eyeshadow palette, lipsticks and blusher. Get 15% off when you buy two items from the collection on Shopee. You can also get SGD8 off a minimum spend of SGD40 on Etude House purchases this month by using the code ETUDEOCT.
After creating what is sometimes dubbed as the Rolls Royce of hair dryers, Dyson has just released a new hair tool. The Dyson Airwrap is a styling tool that can give your hair curls, waves and even straighten it without the use of too much heat.
