Well, hello there, Wednesday! It's the middle of the week once again, but we're not winding down. Here are just some of the hot news we've learned about.
Nina’s back at Elle
Nina Garcia is the new editor-in-chief of Elle US. She’ll be replacing Robbie Myers, who was at the helm of the publication since 2000. Garcia was Elle’s fashion director from 2000 until 2008. She then moved to Marie Claire and served as its fashion director till 2013. Prior to her new stint at Elle, she served as Marie Claire’s creative director.
Tiffany Home
Tiffany & Co is broadening their range by introducing a home and accessory line. The collection will be made with the same materials and craftsmanship as their exquisite jewellery. The home and accessories line will be available at all Tiffany & Co stores in Singapore starting November.
Gucci x Dapper Dan
Following the controversy that hounded them, Gucci and couturier Daniel Day, better known as Dapper Dan, have collaborated on the Italian brand’s men’s tailoring ad campaign. Gucci was accused of plagiarizing Dapper Dan’s designs, but it looks like there are no hurt feelings between them.
100 lipsticks
The world was shocked when Fenty Beauty by Rihanna released 40 shades of the Pro Filt’r Soft Matte liquid foundation. But it looks like the line is not the only one that’s a fan of big releases. Tom Ford beauty has just debuted 100 — yes, 100 — lipstick shades.
