Sephora suffers through a data breach
Sephora is one of today's biggest stops — offline or online — when it comes to beauty shopping. So it's safe to say that it's quite unnerving to find out when it has been hit by a data breach. Last week, the skincare and makeup retailer reported that it discovered its security compromised two weeks after the said hacking has actually happened. Details of customers, from names, email addresses, passwords and more are said to be exposed. The affected regions are mostly from South East Asia, as well as Australia and New Zealand.
On the flip side, Sephora claims that no credit card or any other purchasing details were accessed despite the large-scale incident.
Fenty Beauty is launching a new foundation for dry skin
It's no secret that Fenty Beauty changed the game for foundations — and beauty brands — forever when it initially launched its vast range of shades from a couple of years ago. But while the much-hyped foundation proved to be an amazing find for many beauty lovers, dry-skinned ladies did not find a match with the original Pro Filt'r Foundation formula. Now, after two years of the brand's conception, Fenty Beauty announced that they are launching a Hydrating line with a similar extensive shade range. Look out for it on Sephora and the Fenty website starting August 15!
