ZALORA Visual Search

We can’t help it but say we’re always in awe when we learn about new technological advancements. The ones related to making our shopping needs met easier are definitely winners in our book, too. So we’re definitely excited to learn that you can already use images to search for products at the ZALORA app. The feature is now available for both iOS and Android versions of the app.

First Hijab-Wearing Barbie Doll

As you may already know, we’re also delighted to discover trends and news from our Community. And we’re definitely happy to learn about this piece of news written by our contributor, Mara Lagdamen.

Barbie is continuing to break boundaries today by inspiring women and girls everywhere with its newly released first-hijab wearing Barbie.

The doll itself was inspired by Olympic Fencer Ibtihaj Muhammad, who became the first American to compete in the games wearing the hijab. The doll is part of the “Shero” Collection which includes prominent personalities such as model Ashley Graham, actress Zendaya, Olympic gymnast Gabby Douglas, ballerina Misty Copeland and director Ava DuVernay. The dolls will be made available in 2018.
