Jack Wills Unveils Their Latest Collection | Clozette

British brand Jack Wills recently showcased their latest Spring collection by their new Creative Director, London designer Richard Nicoll.  His debut collection is inspired by the music of British Youth sub-cultural periods from the 1960s Youth Quake through to 90’s Brit Pop

During his launch in Singapore, guests enjoyed key highlights from the show, including ‘Hockney’ rugby tops, colour blocked anoraks, a herringbone Crombie coat for men, and bubble gum pink mac and an optical rugby dress inspired by Twiggy for women.

His collection is full of colours and the trends he became know for-- bubblegumpink-coloured outerwear, denim, sweet-yet-sporty separates, and all the basic staples with a youthful twist. It's like a cross of neat preppy and sporty. Despite the fun lifestyle collection, he says that the collection is for anyone with a youthful spirit.

The woman on-the-go needs something more than the usual handbag. With Mulberry’s latest bag for Spring Summer 2015, women can now celebrate style and practicality. Say hello to the new two-in-one Delphie bag!

Inspired by and named after the delphinium flower, the Delphie bag is a practical and elegant piece with a shoulder strap in either leather or a new flat chain design. An amusing (and extremely useful) function of the Delphie bag is that it can be flipped over-- revealing a contrasting leather and colour for a totally different look.

The use of woven leather is also a notable new style point. The leather weaving technique was originally inspired by the centuries-old craft of willow basket making. The technique has been used by Mulberry throughout history, thus it has been applied to their latest Delphie bag as well. Another interesting thing to note is that the lock used for this specific bag was inspired by a circular push-lock on a vintage Mulberry bag which makes the reversible function simple to use.

Overall, the Delphie bag is extremely stylish, easy to use, and practical. There's no excuse not to get one (or two? for that matter).

This has been another fashion-filled week, with Clozetters dressing up for Chinese New Year together with a number of note-worthy casual outfits. For this week's OOTD Roundup, we rounded-up a mix of looks, from dressed-up to dressed-down, to everything in between.

Read on to see our top 5 favourite looks for the week.

The Lunar New Year Celebration was full of dresses--long ones, short ones, and floral ones, and they all looked good. However, Clozette Ambassador, christyfrisbee, levelled it up with this sweetheart tube dress and popcorn sling bag. The print and lines on both pieces complemented each other, with her heels adding an elegant finish to the look.

It's never too late celebrate Valentine's Day and Clozette Ambassador, cassansaurusanaesi, certainly knows how to dress up for it. These lace pieces are so romantic and feminine that we just can't help but admire the entire look. We also love the white, pink, and nude colour combination---a perfect trio for that sweet, romantic aura.

Taking a break from the CNY hype is Clozetter, steffitup. She incorporated suspenders in a simple tee, pants, and sneaker outfit---and it made a big difference! This is how boyish-classy should be done.

We saw floral dress OOTDs one after the other but this floral top paired with high-waist jeans is an absolute winner. Clozette Ambassador, chinobcena, dressed up her otherwise laid-back look with a floral top for an ensemble that mixes that sweet, classy look with a touch of casual.

Why fit in when you can stand out? Clozetter, meowissa, definitely stood out with this OOTD. The look, the background, and even the pose is beyond ordinary---and that's why we love it! It's urban but still very put together, especially with that sequin jacket and high-cut Chuck Taylor sneakers.
