All The Details About Jennifer Aniston's TV Comeback | Clozette

Lately, there's been a lot of buzz about Jennifer Aniston. Some are juicy but questionable, and yes we're talking about those rumours of her reuniting with ex-husband Brad Pitt. However, this we know to be true: she's getting a television comeback and it's sooner than expected.

Although Aniston never really left showbusiness and has recently starred in movies such as Dumplin' and Murder Mystery, the celebrated actress didn't take a major role in any television series since playing Rachel Green in Friends more than a decade ago. To say that fans were ecstatic at the announcement that she will return to television via Apple TV+'s The Morning Show is an understatement. Ahead, the exciting details about her upcoming comeback.

Jennifer Aniston will be playing an ageing news anchor

The Morning Show centres on three main characters: Alex Levy (Jennifer Aniston), who is an ageing news anchor; Mitch Kessler (Steve Carell), Alex's former co-anchor who was fired for sexual allegations; and Bradley Jackson (Reese Witherspoon), the journalist who is being groomed to replace Mitch and pitted against Alex. The plot will mostly revolve around Alex fighting to keep her job and the tensed relationship with newcomer Bradley.

It explores the effects of the #MeToo and Time's Up movements

The series will explore not just the downfall of predatory men in the entertainment industry, but also the way it affects the women they were involved with and how other people will take advantage of the drama. One line in the trailer perfectly sums it up, "Watching a beloved woman's breakdown is timeless American entertainment."

It's said to be one of the most expensive series to be produced

Believe it or not, the show is estimated to be more expensive to produce than Game Of Thrones, according to Financial Times. It's said that Apple TV+ invested around $6 billion dollars to produce original content and a chunk of it was used for The Morning Show. Well, with that amount of money, we're expecting some top-notch content.

It's a reunion for Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon

In case you forgot, Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Aniston already shared several scenes together as sisters Rachel and Jill Green in Friends. Witherspoon only appeared for a total of two episodes, but the chemistry between the two was already palpable even back then.

Fashion Week in every major fashion capital has served as an inspiration for many a lady through its history and the latest season has been no exception. So we’ve condensed some styles for you this fall. If you’re looking for ways to pumpkin spice up your wardrobe this season, you’ve come to the right place.

Modern romance

Whether you’re a tomboy or a girly girl, there are ways to wear this style to suit either vibe. Pair a silky ruffled top with fitted pants and short heeled boots for an upgraded biker chick look, or go full glam in a maxi dress with striking prints ala Givenchy.

Punk is not dead

Everyone owns a piece of plaid clothing, whether it’s a simple skirt or button-down shirt. But it’s time to breathe some new life into it. Pair your combat boots with some rolled up trousers to show them off and put on your best smirk because it’s time to revel.

Walking on the wild side

Have animal prints ever really gone out of style? Choose one that’s as subtle as snake print or big and bold like leopard or zebra and you’ve got yourself an outfit that catches the eye and envy of everyone else in the room.

Going green

The colour of the season is jade green or a dark teal, but whichever way you look at it, it’s a gorgeous shade to wear this fall. Add a pop of colour to your look with a ruched skirt, denim pants or a beautiful structured bag and you’re ready to step out.

Night sky

Make people do double-takes with this understated style of sequins by incorporating them into casual daily looks, or make them scream fabulous as you turn heads with a full-length sparkling number. Either way, it’s fun, flirty and totally sexy.

Sport some socks with your shoes, too, to add more flair to these looks.

It started out with hairclips. Now, we're seeing more and more sporting them in their bags. What are they? Beads. It's safe to say that the beaded bag trend is back. This classic design helps punctuate outfits and give them a more elegant and vintage vibe (think Lana Del Rey). We're definitely onboard.
