JLo Beauty is coming
While not a newbie to the beauty industry, Jennifer Lopez is set to make a name for herself with her own beauty brand. In an Instagram post last Tuesday, the singer-actress uploaded a photo with the caption "Sunset glow… #JLoBeauty coming soon". According to a trademark filed late last year, JLo's brand will be coming out with skincare that will help us regular folks achieve that JLo glow. However, we also think that makeup is in the works too. Can't wait!
BLACKPINK teams up with Selena Gomez
BLACKPINK is the revolution, indeed! The girls' comeback has featured a host of big Western artists like Lady Gaga, Dua Lipa, and now Selena Gomez. It’s looking to be a sweet-themed performance, with their newest single titled "Ice Cream" drawing inspiration from the cool treat. Gomez made her first appearance wearing a vintage-inspired bikini driving an ice cream truck while BLACKPINK was decked out in youthful pastel hues. The music video teaser already amassed almost 13 million views in under 24 hours — the power of BLINKs and Selenators united.
The Powerpuff Girls is getting a live-action reboot
From the folks at The CW, who brought us Riverdale and Supergirl, comes the news of a Powerpuff Girls live-action remake. According to Variety, the crime-fighting trio will be aged-up and tackling darker topics. So while sugar, spice, and everything nice might be scarce in this remake, it's still an interesting angle for this childhood classic.
