Our Favourite Moments From Kylie Jenner's Birth Announcement | Clozette

Even those who don't 'keep up with the Kardashians' can't escape hearing about the latest headline about the clan. Truth be told, as reality TV stars, fame is their bread and butter. So why did Kylie Jenner choose to keep her pregnancy away from the press when she could have milked the attention that would've come with it? Well, simply for the health of the baby. She knew a million eyes would be watching and judging and that would take a toll on her well-being. For that, major props, mummy Kylie.

The rumour of Kylie's pregnancy started around September last year, and it had kept the public on their toes since. Theories on the internet ranged from 'Tyga is the father' to 'Kylie is Kim's surrogate'. After a long wait, Kylie has finally revealed the truth. She has just given birth to a baby girl. We were treated to a charming video that chronicles her 'hidden pregnancy'. Here are our favourite moments.

The supportive best friends

Life is better when you've got a set of supportive best friends who know you very well. Jordyn Woods, Kylie's best friend, gave the sweetest message to Kylie's baby girl. "When you're 20 years old, you're just figuring out your life," Jordyn said. "You don't know what you want. You're just becoming a young adult but there's one thing your mom knew for sure — and that was you." Cue the awwwwss.

We also got a glimpse of the intimate baby shower for Kylie and Khloe Kardashian. Those matching silk pyjamas and fur slides are so cute!

Kylie's pregnancy cravings

Being pregnant is a good excuse to indulge in eating delicious food. And Kylie was no stranger to having some huge cravings. "It's just In-N-Out these days, literally tastes like the best thing I’ve had," Kylie said. In another scene, she talks about the food on her plate saying, "One for me and one for the baby, and two different fries because I like regular fries and she really likes sweet potato fries."

Her baby girl's wardrobe

Kylie set up a wardrobe full of adorable little outfits and shoes. We spy some pink cardigans, overalls and baby dresses. There's also a pair of baby Nike sneaks from Jordyn. We've got a fashionista in-the-making!

The beginning and end of the video

All throughout the video, her friends made remarks about how Kylie "wanted this since she was 18" and that "she's born to be a mum." Which is why it's so fitting that the video starts with Kylie's birth and ends with Kylie giving birth. In the middle of the clip, we see Kris Jenner and Kylie laying side by side while listening to the baby's heartbeat. If that doesn't make your heart melt, then we don't know what will.

She may have to cut some of her partying time to take care of her baby girl, but we know she's gonna have as much fun (if not more) doing so. We wish you the best, Mumma Kylie!

Kim Kardashian West has recently launched fragrances inspired by Kimojis in the shape of a heart. Since it's February, West says she's all about spreading love to everyone... as in everyone — even her haters. The reality star shared a photo of a list of recipients of her fragrances and it includes people she's known to have a beef with. Just a few of the names we spotted were Taylor Swift, Wendy Williams and Blac Chyna.

If you've been wearing the same cheongsam for the past three Chinese New Years, then you know that it's time to mix things up. And if you're going for that chic, nonchalant look, IT Girls have plenty of styling tips to offer. We did some serious Instagram stalking and scouted some style cues and outfits to take note of when shopping for the perfect CNY OOTD.

Maxi dress with interesting details

Look sophisticated without trying too hard by taking a cue from TV host and fashion blogger Janeena Chan. Pick a maxi dress with interesting details like floral embroidery and slit. Avoid looking too casual by choosing statement accessories such as tassel earrings and subtle metallic shoes.

Cold shoulder + pencil skirt

As a model and style influencer, Chelsea Robato is often seen pairing unexpected pieces together. If you also love following trends, you can skip the shopping and just hunt for clothes in your current wardrobe. Off-shoulders and cold shoulders were a big trend last year, so it's very likely that you own at least one garment in either of those styles. Just pair your cold shoulder top with a pencil skirt, then match the outfit with pumps and some CNY-appropriate jewellery. That's it; you're all set!

Red dress with bell sleeves and ruffled hem

Wearing red for Chinese New Year may be a cliche, but you can still add your own refreshing twist. Instead of the usual red mandarin collar dress, wear an ensemble that looks more festive — after all, it's a celebration! Entrepreneur and stylist Savina Chai chose a red dress with bell sleeves and ruffled hem. Just like her, look for something that's not OTT — what you want is just a hint of flair.

Sheath dress in muted colours

Sheath dresses are not just for the office, you can also wear them to events and celebrations if they're in the right colour. For CNY, you can choose brighter colours or muted pastels. Fashion tastemaker Nellie Lim keeps her look posh and polished by wearing it with pumps and a simple clutch.

Sleeveless wrap dress with halter neckline

You can totally wear something trendy on Chinese New Year; just make sure that it still looks classy. Look at YouTuber Charis Ow's wrap dress, it's something that's very on-trend yet looks just as sophisticated as a cheongsam. Add some stilettos to the mix and you get the perfect balance of sleek and dressy.
