Longchamp reintroduces the Le Foulonné Collection
One “new” launch is the new additions to Longchamp’s Le Foulonné Collection. Featuring one of the luxury brand’s signature leathers and minimal gold hardware, the new models include a cross-body bag with a square, slim-line design and a rounder flap bag that are both perfect for short excursions outdoors. Other pieces from the Le Foulonné Collection were showcased at Longchamp’s Fall/Winter 2021 fashion show, held at the Manège Battesti at the heart of Paris, as a tribute to the equestrian world. Both are now available in the Philippines at Rustan’s and Rustans.com.
UNIQLO to launch two Pokémon collections by 28 May
If you’re a fan of the Pokémon franchise and UNIQLO’s functional apparel, you may be excited to know that there will be two UT collections launching later this month. In celebration of Pokémon’s 25th anniversary, UNIQLO will be coming out with the Pokémon All-Stars collection featuring the franchise’s popular characters.
There are shirts for women and men, while the kids’ collection has shirts and shorts. Meanwhile, there’s also the Dreaming Pokémon UT collection that features sweat-wicking infant pyjamas with a soft, pastel colour palette. The collections have only been confirmed to be available in Singapore starting 21 June, but we’re keeping an eye out for news of its availability in Malaysia and the Philippines.
You can buy now and pay later on ZALORA
Online shopping is super convenient, but ZALORA is set to make it even easier to shop with its new “Buy now, pay later” payment option. The platform partnered with the “buy now, pay later” mobile app Atome to allow its shoppers to split their purchases into three zero-interest payments at checkout via the ZALORA mobile app. The feature is now available in Singapore and Malaysia and is set to roll out in Hong Kong, Indonesia, the Philippines and Taiwan in the coming months.
Issy & Co. launches the Hydragloss Hydrating Lip Treatment

Moving on to makeup, MAC Cosmetics revealed the line-up for its The Disney Cruella Collection By MAC ahead of the Disney live-action film release on 28 May. The collection features lipsticks, eyeliners, eyeshadows, and blushers in gorgeous two-toned packaging, inspired by Cruella’s signature black-and-white ensemble and signature red lip.
“With there being such a huge trend for recycling the more niche counterculture moments of previous decades, this collection feels like MAC returning to a celebration of the kind of DIY styling and brave transformation that originally made it such a maverick brand,” explained MAC Director of Makeup Artistry, Terry Barber in a press release.
Beyond Evil wins best drama at the 57th Baeksang Arts Awards
In case you missed it, the 57th Baeksang Arts Awards — Korea’s Oscars, if you will — saw the psychological thriller Beyond Evil take home the Best Drama award. The show follows the jaded policeman named Lee Dong-Sik (Shin Ha Kyun) and the passionate, rookie detective Han Joo Won (Yeo Jin Goo) working together to solve a serial murder case in the small town of Manyang. In addition to the best drama award, the award show also honoured lead actor Shin Ha Kyun as this year’s Best Actor for his performance in the series.
