A Game Of Glam: Looks We Love From Rose Leslie & Kit Harington's Wedding | Clozette

During the weekend, Game of Thrones fans had their own version of a royal wedding as the fandom's favourite reel-to-real couple Rose Leslie and Kit Harington finally tied the knot. The two, who previously played star-crossed lovers Ygritte and Jon Snow in the series, had fans screaming with glee when they officially confirmed they were dating around the time they were filming the show and when they later announced their engagement.

While weddings may not be a good occasion on the show (as fans would know that it often means 'bad news' and 'mass deaths of major characters'), the real-life nuptials looked simple yet whimsical, with Leslie and Harington mostly smiling ear-to-ear throughout the celebration, which was attended by their family, friends, and cast mates.

And since we spotted a lot of our GoT  faves among the wedding well-wishers, we decided to cop some style notes from the wedding that we can definitely channel in our daily looks as a nod to our favourite Thrones' stars.

Rose Leslie's bob

Starting off with the bride: As much as we can't get enough of her Elie Saab lace wedding dress, one thing that we really love about the look are her chopped locks. Going for a chic and edgy look to match the intricate design of her gorgeous attire as well as to compliment her amazing bone structure, the hairstyle is the perfect summer look for everyone who's looking for a practical yet sophisticated chop that can match any outfit, occasion or plan.

Coordination domination from Sophie Turner and Maisie Williams

With their countless wacky Instagram photos and weird Vines together, it's no secret that these onscreen sisters are also BFFs in real life. And what better way to celebrate your TV brother's wedding than to be each other's date in coordinated outfits? Turner and Williams proved that you can never go wrong with red and black as a colour combo.

Channel your boss vibes that are worthy of the Iron Throne by either using Turner's oversized blazer dress or Williams's chic black jumpsuit as style inspiration for that empowering look that can get you through a hectic day at the office.

And P.S. to all our bespectacled ladies: No need to worry about contact lenses for glam events as glasses can also be formal chic as shown by Maisie.

Emilia Clarke's monochrome layers

Khaleesi never fails with her style whether it's on or offscreen and this gorgeous blush ensemble that Emilia Clarke wore to the wedding is proof.

Layering a beautiful pink coat over a leaf-printed dress of the same shade family and finishing off with nude Dior slingback pumps, Clarke's ensemble is a combination of prints and cuts that complimented her petite stature. Finally, accessorising with a white bag to match her Targaryen-blonde hair, we can say that Clarke truly aced the monochrome look.

So whenever you're going for a layered monochrome look, aim for pieces that have contrasting elements and cuts to ensure that the final look won't be unflattering, bland and overpowering.
