Up-and-coming luxury high street fashion label Off-White™ by designer Virgil Abloh has been making waves for quite some time now. We've seen fabulous items from the brand worn by celebrities like Rihanna and Beyonce, and we definitely want a piece of it. Here are some Off-White™ collabs that caught our fancy.
IKEA x Off-White
Abloh just dropped a teaser of the IKEA x Off-White collaboration that we've been waiting for since early this year. The collection is specifically for millennials who are purchasing their own furniture for the first time in their lives. Virgil, in an interview, said that he recognised that the young generation today grew up looking at wonderful home photos in social media and blogging sites like Tumblr. And so his goal with this collab is to "make those things real so people can live with design and great products."
Jimmy Choo x Off-White
Two fabulous brands collaborating? Sign us up, please! Off-White's Spring Summer '18 collection deviated from the brand's streetwear look trademark and instead ventured into a territory where satin dresses, tulles, and florals reign. The collection can be considered an homage to the late Princess Diana. Included in the collection is a "the modern princess' glass slipper." Instead of it being made of glass, it's built with clear PVC to recreate that Cinderella-esque look with a modern touch.
Nike x Off-White
Off-White™ and Nike recreated classics with their recent collab. The first batch of Nike classics, called "Revealing", was given a new, raw DIY look by playing with the different elements of the original design. The next is named "Ghosting," which focused on a more minimalist aesthetic.
