Onitsuka Tiger launches the History Graphic Pack Collection

Speaking of retro details, do you love little vintage graphic elements in your shoes? Then you should check out Onitsuka Tiger’s new collection. It features Tokyo-inspired illustrations by French design studio Bikini Sous La Plouie. The contrast of the bright graphics against a simple white background can make these your new go-to sneakers. The History Graphic Pack collection is now available in Singapore on the brand's official website.

Hamilton to be streamed on Disney+ instead

While we’re on the topic of history-inspired creations, you may remember that the hit American musical Hamilton was set to be released as a film this October. Due to the pandemic, it was announced that the official live-capture of the Broadway musical will be made exclusively available through the Disney TV Plus service starting 3 July. While the Disney service is still currently unavailable in Asia, the uplifting news made a lot of musical fans excited since this will feature the original cast — including the show's creator Lin-Manuel Miranda as the titular character.

2NE1's Sandara Park to make a cameo on Dinner Mate

In other entertainment news, former 2NE1 member Sandara Park is said to be making a cameo on the upcoming K-drama Dinner Mate starring Seo Ji Hye and Song Seung Heon. Dara will portray a “woman who suffers from an eating disorder and furtively seeks out Dr. Kim Hae Kyung (Song Seung Heon) in order to receive treatment,” according to Soompi. The show is set to premiere in Korea on 25 May.

EXO’s Suho bids fans farewell

Not to end this on a sad note, but this week has been bittersweet for EXO-Ls. Another member of the group, leader and lead vocalist Suho, has officially enlisted for his military service starting 14 May. To thank his supporters, the K-pop idol posted a photo with the caption “WE ARE ONE, EXO. Let's love.” on Instagram. Suho is now the third member of the popular K-pop group to enlist, with D.O and Xiumin being the first two. Fans have been posting on social media expressing support and good luck for the singer-songwriter since he made the announcement earlier this month. Suho's enlistment began just a week before his 28th birthday this 22 May.
