Son Ye-Jin is Valentino’s muse




Son Ye Jin wore a lot of fabulous outfits featuring international luxury brands in Crash Landing On You as Yoon Se Ri, and it was only a matter of time before she became a muse for one. Her management MSteam Entertainment Co., Ltd., under Spackman Media Group Limited, announced the actress’s new role as Italian luxury brand Valentino’s muse. She will be the face of the brand's worldwide campaign, which began last Monday. The campaign “seeks to portray self-expression, truth-seeking and intellectual attitude that is both romantic and empathetic”. We’re looking forward to more of our Melodrama Queen’s Valentino outfits in the coming months.

First presented by Louis Vuitton Women’s Artistic Director Nicolas Ghesquière in October 2020 in Paris, France, Louis Vuitton’s Spring-Summer 2021 Collection was re-presented through a spin-off show in Singapore’s ArtScience Museum. The phygital (physical and digital) show was also the debut of the brand’s Summer 2021 capsule collection, “an ode to summertime and inspired by days at the beach”. Burberry reveals exclusive skin designs for Honor of Kings

Speaking of luxury brands and digital moves, British luxury fashion house Burberry recently unveiled its exclusively designed skins for the popular Honor of Kings mobile game. Marking the game’s first co-creation with a luxury brand, the collaboration features two new skins designed by Burberry’s Chief Creative Officer Riccardo Tisci for the popular heroine Yao. Themed “Spirit of Nature”, the skins were inspired by the relationship between humans and nature. The exclusive Burberry skins will be available to purchase for all Honor of Kings players in mainland China.

Lancôme launches new global sustainability program




In an effort to transform their global practises to be more sustainable and inclusive, luxury French cosmetics brand Lancôme has launched its global sustainability program. Called “Caring Together for a Happier Tomorrow”, the program’s three pillars aims to protect the environment’s biodiversity by reducing its environmental impact through packaging and formula innovations, empowering its customers to make more sustainable consumption choices, and empowering women through education, mentorship and entrepreneurship. “As one of the leading luxury beauty brands, we have a responsibility to help tackle the crucial planetary and societal challenges to further build a happier and more sustainable future for all,” shared Lancôme Global Brand President Françoise Lehmann in a press release. Maybelline New York announces Storm Reid as its global spokesmodel




In other beauty news, Maybelline adds Euphoria actress and producer Storm Reid to their list of global ambassadors, which includes model Gigi Hadid. Storm is a vocal advocate for social equality, mental health, and inclusivity. She will  be key in promoting Maybelline's Brave Together initiative supporting anxiety and depression as well as their ongoing diversity work. "I'm looking forward to this new chapter with Maybelline where I will be able to use my voice to champion young women and my generation through my work with the brand," Storm said. Catch her as Maybelline’s newest face for the Fit Me franchise around June of this year.
