Strut Your Haute Street Look With Shu Uemura

“Awaken creativity to reveal undiscovered beauty,” that is what International artistic director uchiide says regarding Shu Uemura's take on street art and beauty--a street art inspired collaboration for their newest Vision of Beauty Collection Vol. 2. Haute Street

The collection is sparked by street art as a premium means of visual expression and poetry in the modern city--meant to lead you down a liberating road of feminine beauty with inspired daily make-up, artistic palettes of colour, and perfectly calculated brush strokes.

Our personal favourite from the bunch is the tint in gelato. It comes in a paint-tube-inspired packaging so you can paint the town in 4 shades of Urban Coral, Graffiti Orange, City Dusk, Street Rose. It also has a fresh and creamy texture that's super pigmented and blendable--easily transitioning between variations of finish (from intense dewy to soft matte).

The haute street look goes downtown edge with a range of products consisting of 2 palettes of 6 eyeshadow shades ranging from easy-to-wear neutrals to eye-catching pearl artist shades, drawing pencils, limited edition dual-ended eye color pencils in vivid paint shades, and 4 rouge unlimited central and supreme shine lipsticks in signature lippie shades city neon, avenue sunset, brick burgundy, and highway pink.

Aside from the bright pigments and street art-inspired packaging by artist, Ōyama Enrico Isamu, the collection's focus is also make-up design that emphasizes the V shapes of the face and accentuates the V's with colour.

The face's V shapes are: the outer corner or inner corner of the eyes, the end of the eyebrows, the cheekbones, and lip corners. Highlighting the V shape with a vibrant colour will give you an effortless, modern and stylish look; skin will look clear; and colour will blend with the contours of your face.

Add the V-beauty techniques to your daily make-up for a creative, cool, fresh twist to your beauty style as inspired by this latest collection by Shu Uemura
