The Best Looks From The Style Squad Show | Clozette

Together with British online retailer ASOS, who showcased their Spring/Summer 2016 collection at Clozette Style Party, the Beauty & Fashion Show also featured the Style Squad Show which saw 23 looks by Asian designers from BYSMWomb, Mporium, and Straits Establishment, all modelled by our very own Clozette Ambassadors, with their hair styled by REDS Hairdressing, makeup done by LANEIGE, and diamond earrings by Caraters.


The show featured four different segments -- Pretty Woman, Chic Escape, Modern Muse, and Free Spirit -- each one showcasing unique ensembles inspired by our Clozette Community.

Floral Princess



With various flowers that look like they were painted on a blank canvas, this 'Pretty Woman' dress looks like a work of art that will go well with any season you wear it in!

Celebrating ready-to-wear fashion in Asia on its second year, AirAsia Runway Designer Search reveals the Top 3 Filipino designers to represent the Philippines at the Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week Ready to Wear 2016 this August.

In the hopes of launching a career in the fashion industry, 185 aspirants auditioned last Saturday at Best Western Antel Plus Hotel, Philippines. After a rigorous two rounds, Mary Camille Veloso and Beatrice Samson of Slim's Fashion and Arts School; and Ron Xavier Santos of  Fashion Institute of of Design and Arts (Davao) were chosen to be the Top 3 finalists. They will be competing against chosen designers from Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and Singapore for the grand finals of AirAsia Runway Ready Designer Search 2016 to be held in Kuala Lumpur in August. 


Winners of the Philippine leg of AirAsia Runway Ready Designer Search 2016 are (2nd from left) Mary Camille Veloso, Ron Xavier Santos and Bea Samson. 

Criteria for judging are design, creativity and originality, consistency of collection, practicality and stage presentation, and coherence to the Asean theme. Since this is an initiative to cultivate and provide platform for talented young designers in the region, the search will continue in Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, and Bangkok. 


Panel of judges during the recently held AirAsia Runway Ready Designer Search 2016 audition in the Philippines is composed of (L-R) Vivy Yusof, Founder of FashionValet; Anthony Cesar Ramirez, Filipino fashion designer; Andrew Tan, Founder of Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week Ready to Wear; Captain Rolando Ching, Chief Pilot for Training of Philippines AirAsia; and Patrick Galang, Fashion Editor of L’Officiel Manila. 

Atty. Joy Caneba, CEO of AirAsia Philippines said, "This designer search is a good platform for our young, up-and-coming Filipino designers to showcase their capabilities on an international scale. The Top 3 Filipino finalists will be developing their collection for the runway during the Grand Finale in August and we wish them all the best!“

The Top 3 Filipino designers have the chance to bag the title of AirAsia's Most Promising Young Designer 2016. Various perks and cash prizes of up to P4 million (RM350,000) await the winning designer in Southeast Asia.

Fashion and beauty lovers were recently treated to an amazing lineup of beauty demos and fashion shows at Clozette Style Party held at Suntec City, North Atrium.


In the midst of YouTube star Morgan from The Beauty Breakdown doing a live demo on how to get a “Blushing Doll” makeup look, and numerous pieces from Asian designers being sported on the runway, the highlight that many were waiting for was the runway debut of British online retailer ASOS!


For the first time ever in Asia, ASOS treated the crowd in Singapore to a Festival Chic runway display of their current Spring/Summer 2016 collection, all modelled by our stunning Clozette Ambassadors, with their tresses styled by REDS Hairdressing, and their makeup done by renowned K-beauty brand, LANEIGE.
