The definition of a perfect date varies from couple to couple. Some like it daring, while others prefer a more low-key setting. Whatever type of date you and your S.O. are going for, we've got your OOTD covered. Here are five outfit ideas that will suit your Valentine's Day plans.

If you're the type of couple who loves to go a food trip, then we bet you won't just stick to one restaurant for V-day; you'll try high-end restaurants to street food. For this, you need an outfit that can fit into any setting —something that's casual yet polished enough that you won't feel out of place in a posh resto. Try going for a cute top knot blouse instead of a shirt, and pair it with classy cigarette pants. As for shoes, go for something low-heeled.

Casual game night double dates can make you feel tempted to dress down, but since it's a special day to celebrate love, it doesn't hurt to spice up your look a little bit for the occasion. Go for something casual but dressy like a pinafore dress. Add a pop of colour by choosing red sandals with block heels to complete the Valentine vibe of your ensemble.

Planning a quick getaway for the day? Wear something that's comfortable and stylish at the same time. For example, a tee paired with a flowy wrap skirt. Don't forget to guard your eyes against the sun by donning sunnies that match your outfit.

Give the little black dress a break and surprise your bae by wearing something unconventional. Try a sophisticated spaghetti-strapped top paired with high-waisted capri pants. Choose bold Valentine colours such as black and red. Then, top it off with some gold statement earrings to amp up this romantic look.

The movie date

When all else fails, there's always the good old movie night. Make the mood extra special than a regular weekend movie date by sporting something more dreamy. Play with sensual fabrics and other details like tulles and ribbon embellishments. It's good to choose a long-sleeved blouse since it can get chilly inside the theater. This outfir is bes paired with some cute shorts or capri pants.

Ruffles have become one of the best trends in 2017 and it's definitely sticking around this year. Look at how these ladies from our Community rock ruffles, and you will surely get persuaded into trying the trend.

New week, new fun stuff to learn. We've already eased our way into February, and we're already feeling the coming of many exciting things. To start off, here are a few of the ones we discovered over the weekend.

Min Hyo Rin marries Taeyang

Big Bang's Tae Yang and actress Min Hyo Rin tied the knot over the weekend. Congrats to the lovebirds!

DIY Dolce & Gabbana

Take style and personalisation to another level with Dolce & Gabbana's Customise Your Eyes line. Wear three different models on one frame by adding clip-ons to your sunglasses.

Paris as Kim

Kanye West has been soliciting the help of "Kim Klones" for marketing his Yeezy Season 6 collection. Some social media influencers were asked to dress up and style themselves the way Kim Kardashian does. They even took their photos as similarly as those of Kim taken by paparazzi. The biggest surprise from this campaign, however, is Paris Hilton's participation. Paris and Kim had a falling out in previous years, but it seems all's well in the friendship department now.

H&M closing more stores

H&M is reportedly closing around 170 stores this year. That number is the biggest total of closures for the company since 1998. The move is said to be dictated by the brand's slow growth since 2010.
