The Top Trends We Spotted In Our #30DaysOfStyle

The weather is getting cooler, clothes are being layered over each other, and the makeup looks are starting to get a bit darker, means only one thing: fall, the fashion aspect of it all, is here. Since August is our Fashion Issue, we decided to introduce you to the chic men and women behind Clozette with #30DaysOfStyle. And among those 30 looks, we spotted a number of trends that we believe will be huge this coming Fall/Winter 2016.

From varied layers and silhouettes to “cool girl” colours, each member of #TeamClozette brought their fashion A-game front and centre to showcase their individual fashion tastes as well as their different personalities.

So if you want to stay on top of your fashion game, as well as get to know a few of the people behind the leading women social network in Asia, keep reading below for the top 5 trends we spotted in this month’s #30DaysOfStyle!

Bold shift dresses

Dress: Carven Paris from The Outnet; Shoes: Kurt Geiger; Watch: Michael Kors

Here at Clozette, it's all about chic shift dresses as they’re easy to put together and can easily go from work-to-cocktail hour! Take this jacquard dress worn by Becks Ko, Editor of our sister-site GlamAsia, for example. It needs minimal accessories as the dress itself is already all kinds of glam and bold!

“Cool girl” colours

Dress: In Good Company Shoes: SUPERGA

As the Fall season is all about neutral shades, or as we like to call them “cool girl colours,” we noticed that a number of our Clozeteers were already rocking them such as our Associate Business Director Jessie Loy! Her sleek grey dress beautifully complements her skin tone, while its material and fit makes it suitable to pair with flats, heels, and sandals!

Sleek trousers

Top: Pink Manila ; Pants: Zalora; Heels: SM Parisian Bag: Mango

Wear it with any top you like, with any shoes your feet desires, and these types of pants will still fashionably tie it all together. Go for a power-dressing look such as this combo from INSIDER Editor Lystra Aranal, or opt for a more relaxed vibe by trading in the heels for sandals!

Loose silhouettes

Dress: Seek The Uniq; Sneakers: Puma; Bag: Furla

As working girls and boys, we want to be as comfy in our clothes as possible without having to sacrifice our personal flair for fashion. Just look at GlamAsia Features Writer Nasia Cammayo’s bold sporty dress paired with these trendy sneakers; it allows her to easily get to places around the city, but her love for loose pieces still shines through!

Flowy Layers

Top: Mango; Pants: The Editor's Market; Kimono: ZALIA; Shoes: Abarcate sandals

It’s not exactly sweater weather yet, but it’s getting there through the layering trend. But instead of going for thick jackets and tops, our Campaigns Executive Azzleena Chng opted for light and flowy pieces that complement each other to make it suitable for our climate!
