It's always a good idea to have a change of scenery once in a while. Although we love the warm tropical beaches, we sometimes daydream about doing winter activities like building a snowman or go skiing. If you're looking to fulfil your cool dreams this season, here are some winter destinations that you might want to consider.
Hyde Park Winter Wonderland (London, UK)
If you love Disneyland, then you'd also enjoy at Hyde Park Winter Wonderland in London. It's a large yearly Christmas event held in Hyde Park. Aside from the cool ice skating rink and rides, you can also chill at the Ice Bar where almost everything is made out of ice including the chairs, tables, and cups. You can also enjoy a grand view of London from their Giant Observation Wheel.
Harbin is located in the northernmost part of China and is named the 'Ice City' because of its very cold climate. In the winter, they host the famous Harbin International Ice and Snow Sculpture Festival where the biggest and most marvellous sculptures can be seen. If you're visiting China soon, it would be a missed opportunity not to see this spectacular annual event at one of the most famed winter holiday destinations.
