ZALORA Presents Largest Raya Fashion Festival | Clozette
This isn’t the first time that ZALORA provided an avenue for local designers to showcase their work in a large scale event. In its second consecutive year, RAYALUTION, ZALORA’s largest raya fashion festival to date, celebrated collaborative collections with some of Malaysia’s most popular and up-and-coming designers during the 2016 Hari Raya festivities.

“All the designers have put in countless hours and worked really hard to prepare for the ZALORA Raya Fashion Festival 2016 and thankfully, the show was nothing short of spectacular,” said Giulio Xiloyannis, Managing Director of ZALORA. “It was challenging, yet rewarding, for ZALORA and the designers because we always strive to create something new for our customers every year to keep them excited.”

From 13 local independent brands and established young designers (including Sugarscarf, Bella Ammara, Fazbulous by Fazura, KREE, Tengku Syahmi, Hatta Dolmat and Woo/Fiziwoo), this highly anticipated event, which was held at Le Meridien Kuala Lumpur was attended by celebrities, media and fashion influencers who flaunted their unforgettable style and showed support for the wonderful collections that were presented.

Fashion drama stepped out once again on Orchard Road’s longest catwalk display two Saturdays ago, with 188 models and performers strutting down the heart of Singapore’s shopping paradise.

With notable personalities and bloggers across the region – Singapore-born singer JJ Lin, Malaysian singer Aisyah Aziz, local supermodel Sheila Sim, fashion blogger Laureen Uy and more – gracing the occasion, brands like Harvee Kok, Revasseur and Uniqlo kicked off the six-week spectacle with their latest Spring/Summer 2016 looks in full glitz and glamour style. After all, you know you’re in for a good show when you have Daniel Boey – one of Singapore’s most notable voices in fashion – curating the Orchard Road Runway Show at Fashion Steps Out 2016.

From the pre-runway party held at Paragon Shopping Centre to the extravagant over- 660metre long Orchard Road runway showcase, we have to say, this year’s installation is one of Fashion Steps Out’s best runs since its debut in 2010.

Since its debut in 2014, Manila Fashion Festival has become the purveyor of style and the catalyst of creativity that has infused new and exciting energy into the fashion industry in The Philippines. Back for another exciting season, they are taking their mission to make fashion accessible a step further by partnering with ZALORA Philippines to bring brands, Filipino designers, and consumers closer together.

Presented by Art Personas, the 4-day spectacle runs from 11th to 14th April at Edsa Shangri-La Hotel. The great thing about this season is that the collections showcased at Manila Fashion Festival – including collections by Mark Bumgarner, Anthony Ramirez, Tony Evan, AZUCAR by Arleen Sipat-Sutton, and many more – will be available for purchase straight from the runway on ZALORA Philippines.

So if you want a sneak peek on what to expect this Fall/Winter 2016, keep scrolling below for the 7 collections we can’t wait to see (and wear)!
