ZALORA Presents Largest Raya Fashion Festival | Clozette
This isn’t the first time that ZALORA provided an avenue for local designers to showcase their work in a large scale event. In its second consecutive year, RAYALUTION, ZALORA’s largest raya fashion festival to date, celebrated collaborative collections with some of Malaysia’s most popular and up-and-coming designers during the 2016 Hari Raya festivities.

“All the designers have put in countless hours and worked really hard to prepare for the ZALORA Raya Fashion Festival 2016 and thankfully, the show was nothing short of spectacular,” said Giulio Xiloyannis, Managing Director of ZALORA. “It was challenging, yet rewarding, for ZALORA and the designers because we always strive to create something new for our customers every year to keep them excited.”

From 13 local independent brands and established young designers (including Sugarscarf, Bella Ammara, Fazbulous by Fazura, KREE, Tengku Syahmi, Hatta Dolmat and Woo/Fiziwoo), this highly anticipated event, which was held at Le Meridien Kuala Lumpur was attended by celebrities, media and fashion influencers who flaunted their unforgettable style and showed support for the wonderful collections that were presented.

The RAYALUTION: ZALORA Raya Fashion Festival 2016 collection will be available online on  zalora.com.my/zalora-raya-fashion-festival.

Since its debut in 2014, Manila Fashion Festival has become the purveyor of style and the catalyst of creativity that has infused new and exciting energy into the fashion industry in The Philippines. Back for another exciting season, they are taking their mission to make fashion accessible a step further by partnering with ZALORA Philippines to bring brands, Filipino designers, and consumers closer together.

Presented by Art Personas, the 4-day spectacle runs from 11th to 14th April at Edsa Shangri-La Hotel. The great thing about this season is that the collections showcased at Manila Fashion Festival – including collections by Mark Bumgarner, Anthony Ramirez, Tony Evan, AZUCAR by Arleen Sipat-Sutton, and many more – will be available for purchase straight from the runway on ZALORA Philippines.

So if you want a sneak peek on what to expect this Fall/Winter 2016, keep scrolling below for the 7 collections we can’t wait to see (and wear)!

--------------------------

Cielo Y Tierra by Anthony Ramirez

Clean cuts and elegant silhouettes, Cielo Y Tierra by Anthony Ramirez is all about elegance. By going back to timeless designs with a modern twist, Fall/Winter 2016 is shaping up to be one very sophisticated season!

A Different Kind of Fix by Brit Tripudio

Layers upon layers upon layers – A Different Kind of Fix by Brit Tripudio is fall street style taken to a whole new level. It combines soft and rough textures, as well as different silhouettes, to come up with unique ensembles that will surely catch everyone’s eye.

AZUCAR by Arleen Sipat-Sutton

One look at AZUCAR by Arleen Sipat-Sutton's Fall/Winter 2016 designs and we’re already in love! The gowns' embroidery and beadwork are surely going to be nothing short of stunning.

Fury by ARIN

Taking inspiration from the new fashion craze, “athlesiure,” earth tones and fun textures have taken over Fury by ARIN. Combining comfort and style, these pieces will surely be a hit for anyone who wants to rock that laidback-chic vibe!

Oral Fixations by Tipay Caintic

Something we rarely see in Fall/Winter collections is a fun mix of colours as the season is usually filled with earth tones and neutrals. But just one look at Oral Fixations by Tipay Caintic and we're already loving the pops of pinks and bright blue hues.

Dal’Lang by Gabbie Sarenas

If you love the 70’s, then don’t miss Dal’Lang by Gabbie Sarenas. From high collars, to flared sleeves, to eccentric prints, this collection has that 70’s-with-a-modern-twist look written all over it!

The New Baroque by Tony Evan

To describe The New Baroque by Tony Evan, all we need are these three words: detailed, sleek, elegant. Based on his remarkable showing last season, this latest collection is bound to excite once again; and we can't wait see it hit the runway.
