Last of the travel photos from Sydney and already looking for new #pinkwalls to shoot in Jeju and Seoul! For those curious about my wall hunting process, here’s how I do it:
1. Follow cafe hashtags from that country (could be like #cafehoppingbkk, #sydneycafes or #seoulcafe). Usually people that post with those hashtags tend to visit more aesthetic places (so that they can take nice photos to post on their IG) and you’ll be able to find more hipster locations on their feed.
2. Once you’ve found a location, use the location tag on @instagram to look for multiple angles of the cafe/neighborhood. This gives you an idea of the space, how it looks like and you can plan your outfit to match the location.
3. If there’s a particular wall you’re looking for but the person only tags the neighborhood (because the wall may not be part of the cafe aesthetic), I use the street view on @Googlemaps to “walk around” and find the wall. This is a pretty time consuming way, but when you eventually find THE spot, that feeling is amazing. Hehehe
Hope this helps those who are looking to take more Instagrammable travel photos at non-touristy locations! #walltraveled
