Pink Mosque at Putrajaya KL, called Putra Mosque.. ⁣
The pink-domed Putra Mosque is constructed with rose-tinted granite, you can imagine how pretty it is from the material name. ⁣
•⁣
•⁣
The mosque consists of three main functional areas - the prayer hall, the Sahn, or courtyard, and various learning facilities and function rooms. The prayer hall is simple and elegant, supported by 12 columns. The highest point below the dome is 250 feet above ground level. ⁣
Its impressive minaret is influenced by the design of the Sheikh Omar Mosque in Baghdad. At 116m, it is one of the tallest minarets in the region and has five tiers, representing the Five Pillars of Islam.⁣

Some of you are asking about the interior of Erawan Museum when i posted the exterior last night. Swipe to see more detail..⁣
It’s easy to fall in love with the intricate details of the interior. ⁣

Erawan Museum in Bangkok, Thailand is an important model of sculpture. The Erawan Museum is the door opening to the heritage of Thai culture. With a wide range of architectural symbols combined with fine arts and craftsmanship, structural layout and natural environment that integrate harmoniously, the Erawan Museum creates a kind of atmosphere that induces visitors to perceive and appreciate the continuity of history, cultures, religions, arts and customs of faith from past.⁣

What do you like to see when you visit a place? For me i appreciate space, architecture and the details. And i also enjoy the view of vast landscape because it always make me feel grounded and knowing how great is God’s work.. ⁣

We really love the food selection. However this time round there are more sweet selection in comparison to last year’s Afternoon tea menu. Hands down for the best scone i’ve ever had, it was really fragrant and texture was just perfect!⁣
I love the tea selection too, i got to try their “Pacific Route Tea” and it was perfect balance of black tea with hint of fruity flavour.⁣

Happy Mid-Autumn!!! 🥮🌝⁣
How many mooncakes have you eaten by now?! 😝⁣
•⁣
•⁣
The festival is intricately linked to legends of Chang E, the mythical Moon Goddess of Immortality. According to the Liji, an ancient Chinese book recording customs and ceremonies, the Chinese Emperor should offer sacrifices to the sun in spring and the moon in autumn. The 15th day of the 8th lunar month is the day called Mid-Autumn. The night on the 15th of the 8th lunar month is also called Night of the Moon.⁣
Because of its central role in the Mid-Autumn festival, mooncakes remained popular even in recent years. For many, they form a central part of the Mid-Autumn festival experience such that it is now commonly known as 'Mooncake Festival'.⁣
•⁣
•⁣
🥮 mooncake (simplified Chinese: 月饼) is a Chinese bakery product traditionally eaten during the Mid-Autumn Festival (中秋节). The festival is for lunar appreciation and moon watching, when mooncakes are regarded as an indispensable delicacy. Mooncakes are offered between friends or on family gatherings while celebrating the festival. The Mid-Autumn Festival is one of the four most important Chinese festivals. (Source: Wikipedia)⁣

•⁣
There are traditional mooncake and modern mooncake (snowskin), which one is your favourite? ⁣
My favourite is truffle champagne snowskin mooncake from ⁣

We only met once at the @clozette event then when she suggested to have a trip to Bangkok on her birthday, i quickly agreed. We had impromptu trip to Bangkok and visited Ayutthaya as well.. Since then we became closed and be each other photographer and do campaigns together.. We even had an epic trip for 3 weeks to Europe early this year..⁣

Lots of time we realize that in real life, the place doesn’t look like what it portrays on the internet/social media... and sometimes otherwise, we find beautiful place in real life but very hard to capture the ambience on the camera, i guess real life experience counts in..⁣

Life is a beautiful magnificent thing, even to a jellyfish.. Just need to open your eyes and open your mind, beautiful things are surround you 💕⁣
•⁣
•⁣
Quick fact about Jellyfish:⁣
They have no brain, heart, bones or eyes. They are made up of a smooth, bag-like body and tentacles armed with tiny, stinging cells. These incredible invertebrates use their stinging tentacles to stun or paralyse prey before gobbling it up. The jellyfish's mouth is found in the centre of its body.⁣
•⁣
•⁣
Moon jellies (Aurelia aurita) often found swimming in groups, they live in temperate and coastal waters of northeast and northwest Atlantic Ocean. They feed on zooplankton.⁣

I visit new places i’ve never been before on a weekly basis.. Now I have more confident and can’t stop taking photos of myself while wandering around Singapore, because I've just got my nose threadlift done by Dr. @chowyuenho at @cliffordaesthetics⁣
•⁣
•⁣
Do you know that nose threadlift is a non-surgical and minimally invasive procedure that immediately lifts, contours and shapes your nose without the risks of filler injections? Find out more about my nose threadlift experience on my blog ⁣
[https://bit.ly/2kcBi3K]⁣
I’ve received several compliments on the natural result, all thanks to Dr @chowyuenho and @cliffordaesthetics @thecliffordclinic⁣
•⁣
•⁣
On the side note, if you are wondering why i barefoot on this photo because footwear should be removed outside the temple on the space designated for footwear to be left safely. ⁣
The basic dress code when visiting a Hindu Temple is: shoulders must be covered and trousers or skirts must cover at least knees. It is best to avoid anything too tight, too short and too revealing. Generally it is better to wear too much rather than too little when visiting a temple.⁣

Do you know that this Hindu Temple previously built at the Orchard Road site under which the Dhoby Ghaut MRT station is located and now moved to Geylang area. The unique thing about this temple it’s just next to Foo Hai Ch'an Buddhist Monastery, it’s kind of showing harmony in cultural diversity.⁣
•⁣

Singapore is a cosmopolitan society where people live harmoniously and interaction among different races are commonly seen. The pattern of Singapore stems from the inherent cultural diversity of the island. The immigrants of the past have given the place a mixture of Malay, Chinese, Indian, and European influences, all of which have intermingled.⁣

Sri Sivan Temple is a Hindu Temple in Eastern Singapore.⁣
This sacred temple was shifted to three other sites before finally settling at its present location. Built on Orchard Rd in the 1850s, the whimsically ornate Sri Sivan Temple was uprooted and moved to Serangoon Rd in the 1980s before moving to its current location in 1993. This temple is a place of worship of the Hindu God, Lord Shiva, the presiding deity of the temple and houses at least twelve other deities. The Hindu temple is especially unique for its fusion of both north and south Indian architectural influences, melding beautifully in this grandly ornate octagonal structure.⁣

If you ask me what is the trending favourite food in Singapore this year? Without hesitation i would answer: Mala hotpot! ⁣⁣
No wonder one of hotpot chain founder annouced as the richest man in Singapore.. ⁣⁣
•⁣⁣
•⁣⁣
Well i understand not everyone like spicy food but hotpot also come in few different flavour to cater everyone’s palate like tomato soup, collagen soup or even vegetarian.. Hotpot for everyone at every occassion! ⁣⁣
málà (麻辣; numb-spiciness) is chili peppers added with Sichuan pepper. It has a unique aroma and flavor that is neither hot like chili peppers nor pungent like black pepper. Instead, it has slight lemony overtones and creates a tingly numbness in the mouth due to its hydroxy-α-sanshool molecules. málà is originated from China and it’s not really a Singapore culture but everyone appreciate hotpot/ steamboat for special occasion as it gathers friends/family, that’s the most important thing, there is a joy when having food together.. ⁣⁣
•⁣⁣
•⁣⁣
I am addicted to hotpot too especially mala flavour 😜 so numb tongue don’t care! My friend know that i have high tolerance to spicy food, they wondering whether my mom mixed the milk with chili and fed me when i was a baby 😂 ⁣⁣
•⁣⁣
•⁣⁣
PS: this is not a sponsored post, we went to Beauty in The Pot and paid for our meal, we have to carefully choose the items as this place known as one of expensive restaurant for hotpot.. why Beauty in The Pot? Obviously because they have the cutest colour in town, and we are collecting our pink photos! 😜⁣⁣

HDB (Housing & Development Board) build a wide variety of 99-year lease flats to cater to different household sizes and budgets. Loving the detail of this oldest Chinese temple in Singapore.. Thian Hock Keng Temple (or Temple of Heavenly Happiness) still stands amidst the street's cool bars and restaurants—an ornate reminder of Chinatown's beginnings.⁣
If you have spare time you can enjoy some peranakan foods and snacks at the cafe just beside this temple, i loved the ambience of the cafe.⁣
•⁣
•⁣
You would not know it, but in the 19th century, Telok Ayer Street faced the beach and sea. This waterfront was the starting point for Singapore’s colonial town planners, and Chinatown expanded inland from here.⁣
At the temple, take in the remarkable architecture in the traditional southern Chinese style. Keep an eye out for the detailed carvings and sculptures of dragons, phoenixes and deities, as well as the colourful broken porcelain on the roof ridges, a Fujian decorating technique.⁣
Amazingly, not a single nail was used in the original construction of the temple. (Source: @visit_singapore website)⁣

Taking photo around the place of worship doesn’t determine someone’s belief/ religion. For me, i love to admire architecture and the beautiful details. ⁣

There are few reason why i love golden hour for photography: obviously is not that hot so you will feel more comfortable roaming around and taking photos, it produces warm hue (the effect which i love!), flare from the sun adds the mood into the photo, everything seems like glowing and shimmering, last but not least, your photo turns out to be very magical 💫✨⁣

For me, i love finding new ideas, create beautiful things, framing a view and doing photography, which somehow related to my current work. I always feel that i am lucky that i have passion doing what i love since i was a child and people surrounding me are very supportive.⁣
When i said i love to draw and scribble, my father provided me with a lot of coloured pencils and crayons. When i feel like learning fashion, my mom sent me for a short fashion course during my school holiday. And when i was a teenager, she gave me a lot of freedom to pursue what i love and study the subject i interested on. My mom never ever set a very high expectation on me. I guess all that shaped me to be more independent and i know what am i doing. In the end i only know that i never dissapoint her.. ⁣
What about yours? Have you find something you love to do at the moment or you still trying to figure it out? ⁣

Blogging and sharing my passion on this platform helps me grow, meet new people and create better content. I hope to share more about my adventure exploring off beaten path and “bring” you in together into adventure.⁣

Talking about this place. This façade of this hostel in Chinatown looks like it was taken straight out of a Wes Anderson film.⁣
Well frankly speaking, this is not a common/ ideal place for taking photo but i just love the #accidentallywesanderson mood here 💕 ⁣
You have to wait for traffic light to take a shot in the middle of road like this.⁣

Finally we managed to visit this #thinkpink train station during ehm “peak hour” and we waited for ppl to clear on escalator and we only have 1-3 seconds to snap that perfect photo..⁣
When an officer uncle approached us and told us not to take photo on MRT station, @blackivory said that i haven’t got my turn to take photo there, then the officer said ok to take photo but just ONE snapshot, then @blackivory proceeded to take 100++ shots of me 😝 ⁣

Always found that this train station is quirky and funky, it’s bright and super pink in real life 💕⁣
If you are K-Pop fans, this scene looks like BLACKPINK's train station in As If It's Your Last video.. ⁣
This is arguably one of the prettiest Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) stations. If you have time to spare when you’re on the East-West line, hop off at this stop and take snaps of this photogenic station.⁣
Chanelling your inner Barbie (or even Ken) here with these pretty bubblegum walls! ⁣

People said this is the prettiest road in Singapore. What do you think?!⁣
Its gentle hues bear some resemblance to Wes Anderson's oeuvre, but oriental flourishings on the cool tiles are a stern reminder of the Chinese heritage that root these buildings within the repertoire of local architecture.⁣

When i first saw the picture few years ago, i thought that this road is just a small road and very peaceful, however i found out that it’s actually very busy road.. taking photo there and crossing the road can be dangerous if you never pay attention to the car passing by. ⁣

Btw, do you know that Singapore was ranked the world's 10th most Instagrammable country by travel publication Big 7 Travel in January this year.⁣

Located on an outcrop at the southernmost end of Labrador Park, the iconic seven-metre tall structure at Tanjong Berlayer served as a navigational beacon for boats and ships approaching Keppel Harbour in the mid-20th century. Ships entering the harbor used the red Berlayer Beacon as a visual marker to navigate themselves towards the harbor.⁣⁣
